Angad Hundal Memorial Award is an annual scholarship, given to support the higher education of a Canadian youth. The applicants will be judged by the qualities highest of a human, like self-discipline, empathy, compassion, patience, tolerance, fairness, helpfulness, open-mindedness, authenticity, consistency, perseverance and last but not the least, respect. We recognizes that these qualities are difficult to define or measure so extensive effort is made in assessing applications to select the winner. Criteria is critiqued and improved by making changes as needed.

All high school students, registered to join a college, university or equivalent higher education institution can apply.

A sincere and truthful application is the first step towards winning!

Requirements
  1. High school graduate registered for higher studies in college, university or an equivalent institution.
  2. Three nominations from either teachers, trainers, employers, family members, friends, community members who know and have frequently interacted with the applicant for minimum of three years.
How to Apply:

  • Register yourself by completing the information and You will be assigned an ID
  • Login with ID and password (set by you).
  • Upload your photograph and id proof.
  • Complete the questionnaire and Essay.
  • Add three nominators and send email to them for the link to fill the nomination form.
  • Lock the application to submit for review.

Questionnaire is designed to stimulate insight and lead the applicants to think about the issues that are otherwise ignored. Once downloaded, documents expands to accommodate the answers.

The essay should describe the applicant’s understanding and vision of oneself, one’s immediate circle, society, country, the earth and the world. This is an opportunity for the applicant to tell what they want the judges to know about them. There is no word limit, and the candidate can choose to write on any topic of their liking. Uniqueness and originality will be valued.

Three nominations are mandatory and applications without it will be disqualified.

Identification: A school ID or Government issued ID (Driver’s license)

Once confirmed, winners will be asked to provide a photograph for the website, current address and SIN number to issue T4
